Wylde MTB & BMX Opening

Get ready to experience the thrill of Western Sydney Parklands’ Wylde Mountain Bike and BMX at Cecil Park when it officially opens on Sunday 28 August.

Be one of the first to explore 15km of mountain bike trails (suitable for all level of riders), or test out your skills on the biggest pump track in the southern hemisphere.

There’s also demos and workshops from Western Sydney BMX Club, and a major prize draw from ABC Bikes.

BYO bike, helmet and sense of adventure.

What's happening on the day...

  • Ride the new mountain bike trails, pump track, and BMX race track. BYO bike and helmet.

  • Demonstrations and workshops from Western Sydney BMX Club at the BMX race track from 11am - 3pm.

  • Enter our major competition to win a $2,000 gift voucher from ABC Bikes.

  • Visit the Transport for NSW tent to learn about the M12 project and more.

  • Visit Sydney Water's Wonders of Water van and experience water through interactive games and virtual reality.

  • Food trucks will be selling food throughout the day.

When: 9am - 4pm

Location: Wylde Mountain Bike and BMX, Range Road, Cecil Park.

How to get there: Located on Range Road, off Elizabeth Drive in Cecil Park.

Parking: Free parking available. Please follow the direction of traffic controllers.

Tickets: FREE, no tickets required.

Who can go: This is a free event. Wylde caters for all ages - beginner, intermediate, competent, and advanced riders. Please check the signs at the trail head before heading off. Riders under 16 years should only ride the Trail in the company of an adult.
